How to Apply for SSC Selection Post Exam 2025?

Step 1: Run over to the official SSC website! Explore it here: –  www.ssc.gov.in

Step 2: One-Time Registration (OTR)

1. Click on “New User? Register Now” if you haven’t registered before.
2. Fill in the basic details (Name, DOB, Email, Mobile Number, etc.).
3. Create a User ID and Password.
4. Verify your mobile number and email via OTP.

Step 3: Fill out the Online Application Form

1. Log in using your User ID & Password.
2. Click on “Apply” → “Selection Post 2025”.
3. Fill in the personal details, educational qualifications, and category details.
4. Select the post and preference based on your qualifications.
5. Upload scanned copies of your photo & signature in the required format.

Step 4: Pay the Application Fee

Application Fee:

• General/OBC: ₹100
• SC/ST/PWD/Female Candidates: Exempted (No Fee)

Payment Modes:

• Online: Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, Net Banking
• Offline: SBI Challan

Step 5: Submit & Print the Application

1. Review all details before final submission.
2. Click “Submit”, then download & print your application form for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC Selection Post Exam 2025

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Here’s a table for the Minimum Educational Qualification by Post Level:

• Age Limit:

                      The minimum age is 18 years by the application deadline.

                      The maximum age is 30 years (varies for different posts).

• Nationality:  Citizen of India,  Nepalese/Bhutanese Citizen, Tibetan refugee – who came to India before January 1, 1962, a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries, etc.

• Other Important Criteria

Language Proficiency: Some posts may require candidates to be proficient in the regional language.

 Physical Standards: Certain posts (like in defense, police, or fire departments) may require candidates to meet specific physical standards.

SSC SELECTION POST Exam Selection Process:

Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Objective Type

• Mode: Online (CBT)
• Total Questions: 100
• Total Marks: 200
• Duration: 60 minutes (1 hour)
• Marking Scheme:
  • +2 marks for each correct answer
  • -0.50 negative marking for each incorrect answer

Candidates must score the minimum cut-off marks to qualify for the next stage.

Document Verification (DV)

• Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification (DV) based on merit and category-wise cut-off.

  • Government ID proof
  • Application printout

Final Selection & Merit List:

• Final selection- CBT scores and document verification.
• No interview is conducted for these posts.
• Merit lists are published post-wise & category-wise on the SSC website.

SSC Selection Post Salary & Benefits:

The salary for the SSC Selection Post varies based on the post level, department, and location. The pay structure follows the 7th Pay Commission.
