Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
- Candidate एक भारतीय नागरिक होना चाहिए या
- नेपाल का एक राष्ट्र या भूटान का subject है
- Indian origin का एक व्यक्ति जो Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Malawi, Ethiopia, Myanmar, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, जैसे और Vietnam से पलायन कर भारत का Permanent resident बन गया है।
नोट: – IPS और IAS के Post के लिए, Candidate को भारत का नागरिक होना चाहिए। अन्य Posts के लिए, Candidate के पास उपर्युक्त criteria के रूप में नागरिकता भी हो सकती है।
Education
- Candidate के पास किसी भी Central, State or Deemed University से Degree या एक Qualification होनी चाहिए जो भारत सरकार द्वारा Recognition प्राप्त है।
- Indian Universities के Union द्वारा Recognized एक Foreign University से Degree प्राप्त करने वाले Candidate भी Exam में बैठने के लिए eligible हैं।
- interested Candidate भी Apply कर सकते हैं।
- वे Candidate जो अपने Degree course के Last Year में उपस्थित हुए थे, exam के लिए eligible हैं।
- जिन व्यक्तियों ने ICWAI / ICSI / ICAI की final examination दी है, वे इस exam के लिए eligible हैं।
- ऐसे व्यक्ति जो MBBS की Last Year (Without completing an internship) passed हैं, वे भी इस exam के लिए eligible हैं।
Number of Attempts
- सरकार ने उस संख्या पर Ban लगाया है जिसमें Candidate इस exam के लिए Apply कर सकता है।
- General category के Candidate इस exam के लिए कुल 6 बार ही Present हो सकते थे।
- OBC Category के Candidate इस exam में Total 9 बार Present हो सकते हैं।
- एससी / एसटी वर्ग के Candidates को इस exam में बैठने के लिए Unlimited time दिखने का लाभ है जब तक कि वह 37 वर्ष की age प्राप्त नहीं कर लेता।

Application Fee
- General / other के लिए Application fee रु .100 / – है।
- Candidate Credit / debit card / internet banking or cash in SBI Bank के माध्यम से Application fee का Payment कर सकते हैं।
- जबकि SC / ST / PH candidates को Application fee का Payment करने की आवश्यकता नहीं है।
Selection Procedure
- Final selection के लिए निम्नलिखित चरणों पर विचार किया जाएगा।
- Stage–1: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type Questions – 100 Marks)
- Stage –2: Main Examination (Descriptive Type)
- Stage –3: Personal Interview (275 Marks)
- Final selection list के लिए केवल Main exam and interview के Marks पर विचार किया जाएगा।
Exam Pattern
For Preliminary Exam
- Exam Time में Ofline mode में आयोजित की जाएगी।
- Exam में 200 Marks के प्रत्येक Paper के साथ 3 Paper और Two Compulsory Paper include थे।
- प्रत्येक Question wrong answer options के लिए 1/3 Mark penalty होगा।

- Test and interview के बाद, UPSC द्वारा Civil / IAS Examination के cut off Marks घोषित किए जाएंगे।
- UPSC द्वारा Cut Off Marks के base पर Candidates को किसी Special area में Vacancies की संख्या के base पर Shortlist किया जाएगा।

Civil Services Exam 2020 Admit Card
- Admit Card UPSC की official website पर available होगा।
- Candidate Admit Card को PDF प्रारूप में download कर सकते हैं।
- सभी Candidates के लिए अलग-अलग Admit Card होगा।
- Admit Card download करने के बाद, Candidate उसी का Printout ले सकते हैं।
- सभी Candidates को Exam center में अपने साथ Admit Card ले जाना Compulsory होगा ताकि वे Exam Hall में Admission कर सकें।
