Eligibility Criteria for UPSC IES/ISS exam 2020:

  • Only those candidates can eligible for this exam who are Indian by nationality.
  • Candidate must have to complete their Master of degree /Post-Graduate degree (in Economics/Business Economics/Applied Economics/Econometrics) or any other degree in the recognized institute/university.
  • Also, those candidates who have any Bachelor’s degree (in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistic)or  Applied for master’s degree (in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics) are eligible for apply for the Indian Statistics Services (ISS) exam.
  • For appearing in this exam Candidate must be fit physically & mentally.

UPSC IES/ISS 2020 Application Form:

  • The candidate should check the eligibility criteria before fill the application form.
  • After the check, the eligibility criteria candidate must fill the application form with correct detail and then submit the application form.
  • The application form will be open on the official website of UPSC (upsc.gov.in). The application will be released in the month of March 2020.
  • The application form will consider two-part i.e. part 1 & part 2. The candidate must fill both parts of the application form with the correct details.
  • After entering the necessary detail candidate should upload an image & signature scan in the given format.
  • The candidate should check the detail or fill the correct information.

Fee

  • The Application fee will be 200/- for the General or open category.
  • No application fee for the SC, ST,  PwD & female candidate.
  • Candidate can use any Branch of SBI by cash or using net banking =of SBI or Master/Visa/Rupay Credit/Debit card for depositing the application fee. 

UPSC IES/ISS 2020 Exam Pattern:

  • Those candidates who are applying for the IES exam 2020 must qualify all the 6 question papers.
  • The paper will be of General Studies, General Economics-I, General Economics-II, General Economics-III, General English, Indian Economics. Same as ISS exam 2020 will also contain 6 question paper.
  • The paper will be of General Studies, General English, and Statics-I, Statics-II, Statics-III & Statics-IV.
  • The question papers will be of General Studies and General EnglishStatics-I, Statics-II, Statics-III and Statics-IV.
  • The question paper will be only in the English language.
  • All exams will be 200 marks only General Studies & General English will be 100 marks.
  • Candidate should know that for every wrong answer 1/3rd marks will be subtracted (Negative marking).

UPSC IES/ISS 2020 Admit card:

  • Admit card will be issued before 2 -3 weeks of the exam.
  • Admit cards will be issued only for those candidates who have completed their application form successfully.
  • Admit cards will be released on the official website of UPSC only. Admit card will be released online.
  • Candidates must carry the admit card on the exam day. All the detail will be mention in the admit card (i.e. roll no., exam date, exam center, timing, etc.).

UPSC IES/ISS 2020 Answer key:

  • The answer key will be available after the 2 -3 weeks of the exam.
  • Candidate can check the answer key on the official website of UPSC.
  • The official website is “www.upsc.gov.in”. 
  • Candidate can download or save the answer key.
  • The answer key will be released only for those exams which have conducted online mode.

UPSC IES/ISS 2020 Result:

  • The UPSC IES ISS 2020 result will be released in the official website of UPSC.
  • The IES/ISS written exam will be released in the month of July 2020.
  • After releasing the result next process will be interview round which is conducted on the month of August 2020.

UPSC IES/ISS 2020 Selection Process:

  • The first Candidate has to qualify for the written exam of Indian Economic Service (IES) & Indian Statistical Service (ISS).
  • After clear the written exam candidate will be selected for the interview on the bases of marks obtain in the written test.
  • The main selection will be declared on the bases of written test and interview scores.
